Prototyping a triangulation algorithm
I'm developing a new algorithm to help Stargraph learn and improve it's estimation the more you use it. Initial results are promising!

Successfully supported equatorial telescopes!
After many months of research and development, I've been able to successfully implement and track stars with an equatorial telescope.

Designed a magnetic adapter
Another suggestion I've receieved was to make a magnetic adapter for Stargraph. I've been toying with various deisgns for months but I think I cracked the code using a flexible hinge to follow the curvature of the optical tube. I'm really excited about the potential for this adapter!

Designed a highly-compatible Y adapter
It turns out that Stargraph is not very compatible with some brands of telescope. So I took that feedback seriously and have begun designing a highly versatile Y adapter that will work with many different kinds of telescopes.

Vanity box design is close to finalized
The vanity box is a small feature, but a fun one! I've been working on a formal product box that can be repurposed for the main Stargraph unit or its accessories. This will help elevate the final shipping and fulfillment process when it comes time to deliver units.

Working on equatorial support
Many folks have asked for equatorial support, so I am working on that now. If all goes accordingly, Stargraph should be able to work with Alt/Az mounts and Equatorial mounts.

Trying out a new app UI
Star charts! That's the idea. I'm prototyping a star chart system that lets users zoom and explore the night sky using a familiar interface.

Expanded wikipedia integration
Over the past few weeks I've been building out tooling to help identify which wikipedia articles relate to which stars in my database. I've enriched the dataset and linked everything accordingly, so you can quickly click into Wikipedia for over 3000 stars.

Greatly improved accuracy in the app
I have identified and fixed a number of data-related bugs which have vastly improved the accuracy and performance of Stargraph. This is exciting!

First major feedback receieved
Receieved some good feedback! The shoe design is too wide, various usability issues with the app, and some telescope compatibility problems. Good stuff! I'm going to take this feedback and iterate on the various components.

First beta tester was on-boarded
I sent out 10 units to the beta cohort. Over the next few months they will on-board with Stargraph and be the first folks to get a glimpse at its capabilities.

Stargraph is FCC Part 15 Compliant
After working through an early firmware bug, Stargraph is now FCC Part 15B Certified

Units arrived at compliance lab
Two stargraph units have arrived at the compliance lab. I can't wait to hear how it goes.

Hardware design is finished
The hardware design is finalized and looking good! This means the enclosure is completely designed and the circuit board. Now Stargraph is ready to head on over to the compliance lab for verification testing.
